Our work to serve the community diligently is our fervent hope and prayer as a driving force. We envision a world where Orang Melayu as a powerful and vibrant community in Sri Lanka – even in the most remote areas of the globe – hold the power to create opportunity for themselves and others.
Our Values
Our values come from years of experience and know-how. Let’s continue these time-tested and proven concepts before we lose them and merge with other traditions & customs that are alien to our wonderful culture and way of life. Wake up Orang Jawa (Orang Melayu); for time is running very short for our small Community to survive and revive. We need to get together to iron out our differences and work out a meaningful and feasible plan to resuscitate ours dying Community which has such a proven track record in its country of adoption. It is a known fact that a few diehards have closed the stable doors after the horses have bolted; but it is not too late to capture these horses and bring them back to the stable by friendly persuasion and meaningful/purposeful coaxing. Time is of the essence to resolve and rectify our needs and requirements; to awake our Community.

Our Team
Because we are very passionate, experienced, reliable, and focused on results to serve the community and we expect the blessing and privilege of working with a host of fantastic followers in our community. Idea of launching a dedicated, highly interactive web portal was discussed at length with very senior community leaders and some of them are ICT & Social Media experts. Targeting a niche audience with a focus on Orang Melayu Ceylon/Sri Lanka community (as a martial race) within and diaspora worldwide to move forward from where we are at present of course carrying the legacy with pride and valour is our fervent endeavor and hope. Information, knowledge & Intelligence on Orang Melau Community is disseminated mainly through Social Media tools as a result the substance value is lost after some time.
As a rule we thought adhering to fundamental principles in formulating the communication strategy; Centralization, Personalization, Diffusion, Social Branding. Use of Push and Pull tactics extensively in choosing the right media before it was conceptualized to target One to One, One to Many, Many to One and Many to Many as a one stop repository with a free membership encouraged for the followers as an option creating individual accounts within the web portal to facilitate sharing restricted and classified information is a feature available as well. We are not sure whether the same capability is available with several websites and sporadic social media content sometimes going viral but with less control and supervision. We still have access to our folks living in Kirinda, Bolana, Koholankala, Badagiriya & Manajjawa, Cassim Gama in Hambantota, we even spend more time with them during our holidays and breaks joining, learning, influencing, creating an emotional bond sharing their culture, customs, traditions, ethics and norms to inculcate the same on our 7/8 Generation as a must and certain amount of charitable activities diverted towards them as well.
